Astorflex is an Italian brand born at the beginning of the 19th century, when the Travenzoli family founded the first shoe factory in Castel D’Ario (Mantua), in a district dedicated to the production of "Handmade" footwear. After the First World War they began to produce footwear with a different process, with a method of stitching the upper that was new compared to the past and which they maintained until 1984. One of the strengths of Astorflex is the quality of the vegetable tanned leathers ( this type of treatment favors the transpiration of the shoe and makes the skin hypoallergenic, always keeping the foot dry) in addition to the rubber used for the soles and water-based glues, all expertly assembled by craftsmen.
